Lawn treatment operative - Oxford

We are looking for a full-time lawn operative to work in South Oxfordshire, Aylesbury, High Wycombe and surrounding areas with a view to start as soon as possible.

The role involves attending domestic properties to carry out lawn treatments such as fertilising, weed-killing, scarification, aeration and disease control (no garden maintenance or grass cutting) and also providing customers with recommendations and quotations for our services.

Good knowledge of the areas we visit is essential and extensive, proven driving experience will be required. Good communication and customer service skills are absolutely vital.

The applicant must:

• Have an interest in lawns and have had some previous experience in either the golf or sports turf industry.
• Be prepared to train and learn the skills of greenkeeping and grounds maintenance in order to work to an extremely high standard at all times.
• Polite, honest and flexible with a positive, hard-working attitude.
• Have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team of greenkeepers.

License/Certification:

• PA1 qualification (preferred)
• PA6 qualification (preferred)
• Driver's license (required)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Supplement pay types: Yearly bonus

Experience: Gardening/grounds maintenace: 1 year (preferred)
